Alani Nightingale (born Gideon Olasunkanmi Adeola) is a celebrated Nigerian, American based folk jazz musician whose career spans decades, marked by a profound commitment to blending African musical traditions with the improvisational spirit of jazz music.

His musical journey began in the vibrant soundscapes of Nigerian churches, where the rhythms and melodies ignited a lifelong passion for creating unique soundscapes.
